My name is Ashley, and I am an international student studying in Australia. I am a Chinese girl who loves to travel, explore new things, and indulge in yummy food. 

Mint Chocolate is my favourite flavour for every dessert or snack. I also enjoy hiking, snowboarding, and visiting museums and landmarks.  

Why I Travel: 😻

My love for travel began at a young age when my family would take domestic trips across China. If we had a long holiday, we would travel abroad with our friends. No matter where I go, the experiences are always unique and memorable.  

Travel is a fun way to invest in me. From designing the trip to reaching the destination and returning, the entire process is a journey that teaches me how to plan, explore, find myself, and adjust. It is also a great way to create and build unique memories with the people I travel with or meet. 

For me, travel is just like a teacher. I can learn new things, explore new parts of the world I am unfamiliar with, and experience new cultures and customers from it. Traveling makes me realise how small I am, how much I love my hometown, and that my life is a beautiful gift.

I really like what Pica Layer says: "Travel in a sense guides us toward a better balance of wisdom and compassion- of seeing the world clearly, and yet feeling it truly. Seeing without feeling can obviously be uncaring while feeling without seeing can be blind." Travel to let us see, feel and think. It is not like looking at a beautiful landscape image or reading a vivid paragraph. It is about going somewhere and being familiar with their culture and people.

Whether you are interested in history, culture, food, or adventure, there's something for everyone in this great country. The Czech Republic is in the heart of Europe, Famous for its beer, architecture, and festivities. As it is in the middle of Europe, it embraces different cultures and people.
