You want to choose flowers as gift to Czech people? Here are some hints you need! ACCESS. (Blog5)

Flowers💐 are a common gift for Czech people. But there are two things you should be aware of. First, people normally pick an odd number of flowers, but be careful not to pick 13 because 13 is unlucky. Also, be cautious if you want to choose flowers as a gift when the person is over 35. Because in the Czech Republic, people over 35 typically consider flowers to have romantic connotations, so if you do not mean that, please don’t choose flowers as a gift for someone over 35. By the way,, no Calla Lilies. They are for funerals. As Chinese, we are quite different. We usually choose flowers as gifts when we visit a patient in the hospital, symbolize comfort to the patient and wish them to get better soon.

It is pivotal to understand one country's customs; it is a way to show respect and help you know more about a country. If I am a Czech person, and my foreign guest gives me a proper gift, I will be so glad; it is a gift and shows their respect for my culture. Culture shock and confusion are widespread to see as we live in different places and grow up in other cultures, but what we can do to minimize these is to do the preparation before we travel to a different location. As a blogger, what I can do it to post some Czech people's traditions or eating habits and other culture-related things to you guys to help you learn more about Czech, and when you go there, you won't panic or be embarrassed if you do something you think is right, but it is wrong.
